We believe there is a value to the human touch in dentistry, the opportunity to combine artistry to the understanding of dental materials in a manner that is customized to meet your needs. By combining modern technology with the knowledge and understanding that comes from creating exquisite results by hand, we truly enjoy watching the dental work come alive from the first introduction to the patient and their dental concern to the day we finish the treatment to the follow up visits to evaluate our outcome. PRACTICE

I believe there is a value to the human touch in dentistry, the opportunity to combine artistry to the understanding of dental materials in a manner that is customized to meet your needs. By combining modern technology with the knowledge and understanding that comes from creating exquisite results by hand, I truly enjoy watching the dental work come alive from the first introduction to the patient and their concern to the day we finish the treatment to the follow up visits to evaluate our outcome. It’s a team effort.

It is this passion that fuels the extra efforts outside of clinical practice to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists, to participate in a wide variety of continuing dental education courses to stay current, to learn and grow in the education process as a Visiting Faculty Member of Spear Education as well as an Adjunct Faculty in prosthodontics at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

I became interested in dentistry with a part time job at a dental laboratory while in high school, learned a few of the steps involved in making dentures and have been captivated by the art and the science of dentistry every since. As our profession changes with new technology, I find that the skilled craftsman mentality that is learned while completing a prosthodontic residency is integral in the research required as well as an overall understanding of the process as we reach a ‘tipping point’ where the digital application provides a true benefit to our treatment outcomes for our patients in terms of appearance, chewing function, durability and cost.

TESTIMONIALS

This Could Be You! Our philosophy is to help each patient achieve the highest level of dental health that is appropriate for them, recognizing that not all patients have the same dental needs or desires.

Take a look at what our patients have to say about their experience in our office:

" I want to thank you for giving me back to me!!! You and your entire crew specialize in caring and I really appreciate that. You were so intent in getting it right that you took the time and patience to make sure it was right the first time and then you rushed to get them finished for a special occasion I had coming up. How perfect was that!! Absolutely Perfect!

My teeth are so great in making me look like myself again. I can laugh, talk, sing, etc. and I have my self-confidence back. Again, thank you so much! "

" I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the tremendous dental care you provided me over the last year or so. Nobody wants to find out they need a prosthodontist but if confronted with the news I would highly recommend they hook up with you. I did my homework and I think it’s fair to say you live up to your billings as the best specialist in the valley, if not the Southwest. Again, thanks for everything. If you ever have any potential patients who have any questions, please feel free to provide them with my contact information. "

" Going through life most of us, myself included, avoid going to the dentist fearing the stress and pain related with dental work. We say to ourselves, “I’ll go later, I don’t have the time right now,” when, in fact, we don’t go because we are afraid. Then when the problem we have with our teeth becomes unbearable, we force ourselves to go. Unfortunately by this time the degree of work needed has doubled or tripled by putting it off. Now there will be more pain and a much higher expense as well. From accidents as a child, and generally weak teeth, I experienced a lifetime of poor dental health. As most do, I waited until the problem was escalated to the point of having them all pulled with full dentures. Knowing others that battled with ordinary dentures, from the poor fit and discomfort, to the ineffectiveness of them, I decided, once I knew I had to go the distance with my teeth, to look into implant surgery and modern technology dentures.

Discovering Dr. Benting was a godsend. Not only is Doc extremely meticulous in his work, he and his staff are warm and inviting. They make you feel comfortable and at ease with getting dental work, unlike the typical “clinical” atmosphere of most dentist’s offices. Doc has a calming demeanor about himself, and goes out of his way to provide not only a comfortable environment but also a superior final product. "
